Outline for your first exam
Hi folks,
The following is the outline for your exam #1. Calculators will be permitted. All work needs to be done in a green or blue examination booklet. All work must be shown and answers boxed with a highlighter in order to obtain credit for the problem. Exam will be on Wednesday of this week.
1.) motion in space -20 points
2.) vector value function's domain, limits, derivatives, integrals- 10 points
3.) arc length parametrization -10 points
4.) angle between vectors, curves, planes -10 points
5.) motion in space, curvature, TNB- 20 points
6.) equation of plane- 10 points
7.) quadric surfaces- 10 points
8.) distance between point and plane or parallel planes, or skew lines 10 points
Good luck with your exam schedule. Make sure it is located in the front inside cover of your blue book.
Study hard and I will see you on Monday- Chapter 14 here we come!

Hello students. Welcome to MAT 241, Calculus 3. I am your professor for this course. Please become familiar with this site for it will be used for posting important class information. Please download the files under the following links:
Syllabus- Contains first day class handout information. Read it and understand it. Ask if you have any questions.
Homework- Contains the homework and class schedule for the entire semester.
Tilli Tidbits- Contains needed to know background math information for this class. KNOW IT ALL BY THE END OF THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASS!
Lecture Notes- This link will have a complete set of class notes for this class. When ready, download them as you wish. They will help you in assuring that your notes are complete. NOTE: They are to be used only as a supplemental information source. You will still need to take class notes.
